Hello,

I have a little problem using the tetrisemu.

When i want install driver with tetris, i have an error :
"driver access error. Make sure you logged with administrator rights"

I don't understand.

you need to have administrator rights, check Control Panel > User Accounts

See what privlages your account has.

Most likely your account it set to "Limited" if so you will need to login with an account that has Administrator rights.

If you have Daemon-Tools or Alcohol 120% installed, try uninstalling them just for now, after uninstalling them, reboot, then try to install the TESTRIS driver again

If that works, you may now reinstall Daemon-Tools and Alcohol 120%

I have seen similar errors when trying to update XP from Origional or SP1 to SP2 and had to remove Damon-Tools to resolve the issue, worth a shot, lemme know.

Try this registry file.

Open the archive using Winrar, extract the registry file to your desktop (or anywhere else)

Double click it, choose Yes to import the info to the registry,

Then try installing the TESTRIS drivers again.

thank you for the answers. I reexplain my problem. I installed the game. the Farenheit installation functioned. then, I must launched tetris and then to install driver. When I click on install driver, I have an error message : "driver access error. Make sure logged with administrator's rights". I have only one session on my computer and I am administrator.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall deamon tools, already the same problem.
I tried to put the registry file, same problem.

After this application and when I want push to install driver : driver access error. Make sure logged with administrator's rights.

I managed to install the driver. For anyone that has the same problem or if a member of the Tetris team is reading this, this is what i did:

I deleted these registry keys:

I rebooted and the tetris driver installed.

The previous values of the keys were:
LowerFilters - "Cdr4_2K"
UpperFilters - "Cdralw2k"

So, there is a solution but which ? lol

The registry file does exactly that, except you dont need to open, find edit, just run my reg file above and should be ok.

Not much more we can do for you goto, we can only help you so much, if the steps aren't working for you, you will simply just have to use the original CD until a No-CD patch comes out.
