First Strike Total Conversion Mod v1.4 for Battlefield 2142

Hi all :)

Just found a file named 'firststrike nocd' here:


Unfortunately the site what's hosting it needs a subscription on another paysite. My question is : has any of you guys tried this file ? Does somebody know what version of firststrike is it for ? (latest is 1.4) Is that for Bf2142 Firststrike mod at all ? Or does anybody know about a Bf2142 Firststrike mod v1.4 nocd patch ? (that can be downloaded for free)

You need the both files.
For online play, you need the original DVD in drive, along with the original serial number that came with the DVD. The official servers have a file scan, that checks if any files were modified. The people using modified files are getting an instant ban(very fun to get your account unbanned, lots of pain, lots of headaches).
So no cracks for BF2142(unless you are playing in Single Player against bots).
