half-life 2

Has anyone successfully made a backup DVD for Half Life 2? If so could you please elaborate on any tips and suggestions or any problems that you encountered during the process?

recently i brought half life 2 and it runs fine. But whenever i am trying to
save the game, after saving this error message occurs---


the instruction at "0x241f5a38"referenced memory at "0x00f0facc".
the memory could not be "read".

click OK to terminate programme.

& the game terminates. I have to again run the the game to play.

please can anyone tell me whats going on? How can I resolve this error?

Something going on, probably with your hardware, you would be best to contact the Half Life 2 tech support.
