crusaders thy kingdom- how do i get the no cd patch to work?

hi , just downloaded "CrusadersThyKingdomComev1.0NoDVDFixedexeEng.rar"
that now how i i get my game to work with out useing the cd. sorry im a complete n00b at this stuff , any help would be great

You have to unrar/unzip the file from archive. Use either Winrar (has a trial period so it can be used for a month or so) or 7zip(freeware).
Copy the file in the game's installation folder, overwritte the original files with the cracked ones

thanks very much i have managed to get it working with out the cd but it hasent stoped the problem, i hoped the reson why the game would not load up was that they was a scratch on the disk ,so with out a disk this problem would go away . aparently not .the game loads up partly and then after the intro video it crashes . anybody offer any advise ?

Might be a conflict with the codecs that you have installed on your HDD. There are a few games that are getting in the conflict with K-Lite and such. But sometimes you can solve that by updating the codecs. Also try updating the videocard drivers and the DirectX. Those two are other possible causes.
