Here is a custom lot, complete and fully furnished house with 2 car (carport not garage :P)

I created this last night while messing around with the Nightlife expansion.

Anyways, Enjoy!

Gah, my custom installation of Sims 2 doesn't have the required file association. Which program opens the Sims2Pack files Crypton? I tried the PackageInstaller from the CSBin folder but it says that the package requires expansion pack data that is not installed...

lol, honestly, bout 30-45mins. The longest part was the decorations such as paintings, ect.. of course, but the actual house took around 30-45mins total. Need some multiplayer action, my wife plays but bleh, cannot play together 0o, that might be a good thing however.

And my house above, its all bout the kitchen and dining ! Gotta have plenty of room for lots of guests. The bar you see has a neon glow (the blue side), it lights up and the bar itself includes a, well of course bar lol one with drinks I mean. You can see in one of the pics the bottles, blender, ect..

Wish the game was a bit more flexible however. Such as you can see the stairs for example, there is a wasted "block" of space, I wish some items you were able to specify a size, also I cannot stand that some items you cannot center, such as a couch that seats 3 will not be "center" with the flat screen tv on the wall. You can see on one picture showing the living room, the couch is a bit off from the tv. Everything "snaps" on a grid and really hate that honestly.

Thanks, I am starting to like sims even more so now that there is more things to do, but I think its about time for me to upgrade my system, Games such as Doom 3, HL2, FarCry ect.. run brilliant on max settings (1024x768 and 1280x1024) but for some reason Sims 2 maxed out has some lag, I am not sure if its the way its coded, the amount of "objects" or maybe high polygon count in the game itself. Does not seem as "optimized" as most games of the same genre are. My wife, she gets pretty ticked at it due to long load times, more so since she is using a Ti4200 versus my FX :P But the systems are identical in CPU, RAM, ect.. So I am guessing it is a graphics issue. Still, need to save some cash and build a new system then give her my old one lol :)

Hmm, should be package installer, I just double click the package file and package installer auto runs and asks if I want to install.

Ill pull some reg data and see if I can get you the file association you need.

Here it is below in a reg file. Change "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" to REGEDIT4 if you are using Win9x or ME of course. (May need reboot afterwards, im sure you already know this but posting it anyways!)

If that still does not help, lemme know m8 and I will check to see what else may be missing, but that reg file should work for the .Sims2Pack and .Sims2Skin package files.

"Error accessing the registry?"

Huh... Things just got funky. Anyway, I guess that my custom installation of Sims 2 lacked some keys then.

From what I see from the pics, the lot looks great. Well done Crypton.

hmm, may need to place the file in the C:\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Body Shop\Downloads\ folder

Install Sims 2 Body Shop first of course.

Or, try this proggy

ya, but its not working on mine, several things and console commands as well that for some reason will not run on mine either. Which is why I think it should be set to not snap by default.
