Far Cry

I just installed Far Cry and the installation seemed to go smoothly, but when I tried to start the game, the initial splash screen appeared, but when I selected to start the game, it disappeared and nothing happened...the game won't start. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem, or must I simply reinstall and keep my fingers crossed?

What version of the game are you using? Try updating with the official patch to the latest version.
