I just installed Nightlife, but it says University has been unistalled, even tough it is instaled. It doesn't recognize the University instalation. Anyone else had this problem? Any way to solve it?

Possibly a reg error. Is the Sims 2: University installed on your PC from an original CD or backup/burnt one? And what version is your Sims 2: University? I think it has to be the latest version to install Nightlife, I'm not 100% on that though.

You may have to reinstall it. I would unistall all copies of Sims 2 and the expansions. Your saved games will still be avail after reinstall since they are not saved in the same folder as the game (saved games are in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\
Best steps to take when installing the game:
1: Install Sims 2
2: Download and run the latest Sims 2 Update Patch from EA http://thesims2.ea.com/update/ (This willl prevent the game from trying to update later from the expansion cd's which in turn will reduce chance for error. Tested personally and install was a breeze after this point.)
3: Install Sims 2: University.
4: Install Sims 2: Nightlife
5: Mount the Nightlife Mini-Disc image using Daemon-Tools, turn on All Emulation Options.
Fire up the game, should work with no probs. Lemme know if you have any problems however.
