Doom 3 Patch/No CD

:confused: just curious, is there a 'No CD'fix for DOOM 3's Rez that will work with the latest patch? or do i need to patch it with a specail patch? i dont mind reinstalling Everything Under The Sun. i just would like to save/preserve my CDs. i wish all games would run without the CDs. it gets costly buying/replaceing them. btw, i'm running Windows XP Pro.

1.3 still the latest patch? Think it still is, at least im not seeing a newer patch atm.
