I have been trying to play Battle of Britain 2 but when I try to play it comes up with a error of "the procedure entry point RestoreLastError could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll." I have dowloaded the "BOB2 v1DllFixEng" crack but am unsure where to extrat this too. I have extracted it too the BOB DIR but this didn't seem to help.
Any help with curing this would be appreciated.
Mick.

I do not have the game myself, so I am unsure, but according to the .nfo (info file)
You can open them with notepad btw.
Battle.Of.Britain.2.Wings.Of.Victory.Dll.Fix-IND
Some people may get an error not finding entry points to
the msvcp60.dll with Battle of Britain 2.
Ths happens cause the game itself doesnt come with the
version you need. Take the one from bob2-fix.rar and
extract that into your installation directory.
Note:
~~~~~
This is not a crack fault or something, its just a fault
that GMX Media didnt deliver the dll you need to run the
game.
If that dont work,
Could be bad fix, or just maybe need drivers updated. Can be compatibility too.
First, and this is a simple attempt to see if it may be a compatibility problem.
1: Right click the EXE or Shortcut to the game and choose "Properties"
2: Goto the Compatibility Tab, You may select diff options there for trying to emulate the game under a more compatible environment such as Win98/ME or 2000
Try those as see if any of the options help at all.
If that does not work, make sure you have updated your Video and Sound drivers with the latest versions available for your hardware.
