so i bought stubbs the zombie rebel without a pulse . and i was wondering if there was any way to play the game using my unsupported video card it is an nvidia 8500gt . the game supports earlier versions of nvidia and ati . i just dont want to get rid of the game just because of this, plus i like it . so is there a way to make the game run with this card ? i have noticed it plays in safe mode but i cant use my gamepad .

You must use the specs as required by the developer, otherwise you are only going to run into issues.

The issue may not be the video card, but maybe an issue with your CPU. (Dual Core/64bit) I am assuming you have one or the other?
You can try right clicking the game icon and goto properties, then choose Compatiblity Tab, change it to an older OS if your running Vista, such as XP, Win2000.
You can also try changing Affinity to Core 0 (Force the game to use a single Core in case you use a Dual Core system.) If the game starts up at all, CTRL+ALT+DEL and goto Process Manager, Look under Running Processes and choose the option Set Afinity and select Core 0.
There is also some hotfixes for Vista if your using Vista and a XP AMD (Dual Core/ 64Bit) CPU Hotfix.

Also, run the DX9 Web Installer and make sure your DX 9 is installed/up to date. (It is compatible with Vista)
