The Trainer won't work it keeps saying Couldn't set up DirectX

What operating system are you using and DirectX Version?

You can try redownloading DirectX 9 and reinstalling it, lemme know though, Trainer started up np here so you may have a corrupt install of DX (Possibly missing registry entries)

windows xp i'll try reinstalling directx

ok tried it doesnt work gonna see if something wrong with the registry now

It's definetly something with the DirectX setup, and what version DirectX?

I have seen this problem on several systems before, DX Gets corrupted and will not reinstall, always thinks everything is fine because the installer never really checks for missing registry keys.

I will search around and see if I can find a fix for it, the only option at this point is reinstalling XP but I know there is a way to resolve the problem without a reinstall of the OS. I will have to find it, please be patient it may take some time to locate the correct procedure.

If you want to try using this to remove DX9 and reinstall it, then go for it, it would be a last resort before deciding to completly reinstall your OS

Have you tried using Tuneup utilities to resolve the problem.Run the 1 click maintenance.
