Does anyone know how to get around the checking for update thing after installing the sims 2 university... And i do own them thanks alot douche.

Does anyone know how to get around the checking for update thing after installing the sims 2 university... And i do own them thanks alot douche.
Install the Update for Sims 2 before installing University.

It will still check if the game is updated, but it will skip try to install an update. Usually this solves issues with the update check. (just download he Sims 2 Update Patch and install it manually) Then install University.

Other option, ingame (load Sims 2) then Press CTRL+SHIFT+C and type autoPatch -off
