some no cd help

ive dusted off starcraft brood war and i want to play it without the CD
ive tried like 10 patches and nothing!! am i doing somthing wrong? i am following the versions etc:confused:
any help would be much appreciated :D

Did you follow the steps found in the NFO of the last nocd fix version (1.15) ?

1. install game + expansion
2. update game up to version 1.15 (patches can be found from blizzards site)
3a. copy cracked exe to game dir OR
3b. if you want to play on battlenet (legit key required), use the included pwz-bw115loader.exe loader to start game.
4. copy file called INSTALL.EXE from expansion cd to your game directory.
5. play without cd :)

i did all of that :( maybe im using a bad crack ?

worry? im not worrieed at all, but unfortunately I do not know as I cannot even test the fixes since I no longer have the game. One of the games I had given to my brother (whom lives several hours away). But as far as I know the fix works as long as you have installed the game + update then apply the fix.

I am not sure if it is 100% NOCD, it may just remove the protection so may still need to CD in the dirve or in a virtual drive, but should work nonetheless.
