Alright here's my situation,

I have downloaded CommandAndConquer3TiberiumWarsv1.04NoDVDFixedDllEng-2.rar and there are two options "Retailexe" and "gaythreat.nfo". By clicking gaythreat.nfo" I get this - "System Information cannot open this NFO file. It might be corrupted or an unrecognized version." (Don't know if this matter but..) any when I click "Retailexe" it takes me to a tab entitles "1.4" and clicking that takes me to cnc3game.dat.

Alright here's what im confused about - When I click cnc3game.dat a page comes up with a bunch of this "DéÃÒ ??qM éws0 ? XOéâj@ é~ïÿÿòëOéØŸ? Qœ?" giberish? Just to clear things up.. this is to crack the game, as in not purchasing CNC3, as in downloading it. I don't have DVD drive which is the main reason i'm trying to just download the game.

Can anyone please expand on this so I can get the game running? The demo is getting too easy.

Extract the files (rar is just like zip) put the files on your desktop.

Right click the NFO file, and choose Open With, then choose Notepad or Wordpad to open the file.

NFO = Info File, it will contain the information you need to use the nocd.

I don't think we're on the same page here, sorry. But I have the game but without a DVD drive. Is there a way to install it in any way? Is there a crack to download the game or something? I think im getting this "crack" business mixed up with "cracking" a free working copy on the game. Am I right?

There is no crack to download the game as thats not how cracks works thay make you run it whitout the cd/dvd in

i would suggest getting a dvd drive as they are more and more needed now
otherwise you could download the game via torrent and install whit your serial code if you dont know how, spend a feew bucks on a dvd drive

If the game is on DVD then you will no doubt need a DVD drive. If you have a friend who has a DVD drive, you could maybe bring your pc to their place and use his dvd drive to install on your pc.

Other option is to buy a dvd drive. They are pretty cheap, you can pick one up for around $30, check www.pricewatch.com
