Heeeellllpppp Please !!!

Hi guys

I tried installing a few games like FIM Speedway Grand Prix 2 and Call of Juarez and also The Mark. Whenever I start the game....Monitor Power Off's and the Power light keeps on blinking. I can hear the game run in background but the screen is blank and I can only see the screen by using ctrl + alt + del and switching tasks.
I am using a P3 1.2 ghz with ram 512 nvidia 5200 hdd 80gb.

Kindly help as its quite frustrating :mad:

Sounds like the game is either running a resolution your card/monitor does not support or your card does not support the said games, or even driver issue.

What video card do you have? Are you using any programs or even tweaks such as "Coolbits for nVidia" that allow you to force a refresh rate? If so, try disabling forced refresh rate and let the game choose the refresh rate ntil you are able to get into settings.

Also, if that is not the case, make sure to download and install the latest version of DirectX found here http://www.microsoft.com/directx as well as try the latest version of drivers for your video card. Often games will come with DirectX on the CD/DVD, you may also try installing it from the games CD/DVD to see if that resolves the issue.

you can try apen this to the shortcut to force it to run in a window.right click and select properties click in the "target" box leave everytinhg as is, you just put -w to the end of it, for example: "C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Prince of Persia Warrior Within\PrinceOfPersia.exe -w" apply and try lunch with the shorcut, then the game should run in a windows sometimes it dont work thou. Good luck
