hey guys. well, first off let me admit that im a newb at this, so im not too familiar with the verbage, but please bare with me...

I just got Marc Ecko's Getting Up for PC. Everything seems fine, the games installed fine. Everything seems to be set, except for the fact that when i double click the game icon on my desktop, it asks for me to insert the game DVD-ROM. I downloaded the game fix for this game on this website, its a NO-DVD/Fixed.exe game fix. I downloaded it, and extracted the files with WinRAR as read on this website. I replaced the original .exe file with the new .exe that allows me to play the game without the disc, BUT everytime I click the game icon to start the game, the window opens, but i promptly get an Abort message that reads: "ABORTING: Your display adapter does not have sufficient capabilities to run this game. [no game crash info]" Is there anything I can do so I can stop getting this Abort message? I tried cancelling and Ignoring, but the game shuts down regardless. Can anybody help me please? Thank you very much in advanced!

He said nothing about downloading the game, he said he downloaded the no-cd fix, last time I checked that was the whole purpose of this site.

Sounds like you may need to upgrade your video card, check to see what video card you have (start menu > run > type in DXDIAG)

On the video tab see what video card you are running then compare it to the game requirements.

^^ agree, but I can do nothing unless I see the original post, as far as his post from what I saw when coming here reading for the first time, nothing wrong with it.
