Age Of Empires III |1607:Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting RunTime Pls help!

Ive mounted the 3 images with Dameon Tools (latest version) but every time I press install from the splash screen it says "Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Run Time"
I've looked on goooogle and nothing helps :(
I am Administrator so there shouldn't be a problem there :confused:

Please help it would mean allot to me :)

Disabled Anti Virus and Firewall and no difference. Thanks for trying, any other ideas?

Delete "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional"

delete only the "Professional" subfolder, make sure to do a backup. if this works you can safely ban forever the deleted "Professional" subfolder.

What operating system are you running? AoE3 doesn't want to run on Windows 2000. There is a workaround. I don't think it gives that error message, but might be worth checking out, I'll check if I can find it.

Found it, if that's the problem, follow these steps:

1. Start -> run -> cmd
2. Type: D:\setup.exe /a (replace D with whatever your cd is called)
3. Click Next, then the installer will ask for a network path, simply type in the path you want to install the game to ( e.g. c:\games\AOE3 )
4. click Install ( it may seem like the program does nothing, but the installation is in progrss - it might takes some minutes )

and that should be it, hope this helps.
