can anyone help me i have copyed all the sims 2 cd's and installed them but when i go to play it, it will not open but if i puy in the really sims 2 cd it loads up strat away. so could you plz help me. thanks

What did you use to copy them? You may not have sucessfully copyied them.

As Duffman stated, sounds like you did not copy them 1:1, Try Alcohol 120% or Blindwrite to make a copy of the CD's.

Programs like Nero or Adaptec Ez CD Creator will not work for copy protected games.

they copyed ok and installed ok but the first disc would not load up the game. i dont need to copy them but i play it alot and i dont wont to ware the discs out i have done that befor i just dont wont it to hapen agen thanks for your help anyway

They may have copied ok and may have isntalled ok, but that does not mean it was a "perfect" copy

A perfect copy means you were able to copy and replicate the protection that is on the CD (CD1), in this case, you were not able to, so the game detects that it is not the origional CD1.
