Latest patches for CPP1 and 2 are removing the Starforce protection in Vista.

I will test later for XP, as I do have the first CPP installed, replaying it.
P.S.: works for XP also.

According to the link above, yes, protection removed.

Seems that even the demand for CD-key was removed, but that might be some left overs in my registry who caused that.

alot of it is compatibility issues between copy protections and Vista. Tages had finaly made a signed driver that works in Vista, not sure about StarForce, but I honestly await the day companies quit using StarForce, stick with SecuROM or SafeDisc, less hassle and works just the same. They are all cracked anyhow, so might as well use something that does not cause so many issues on wide ranges of systems.
