GOTHIC 3 doesnt start

the no cd crack doesnt work 1.12 not 1.1 not everytimes the same problem the gothic logo is in the windows desktop as when its starts just like a cd is insert but then comes a windows error message :
Gothic3 .exe got a problemand must be end
this problemsend it please to microsoft
and then down under the button to send the problem or not

Can you say which 1.12 crack do you use? The best around it's Razor1911's crack.Also make sure you have your video card drivers up-to-date.This means at least Nvidia forceware 93.71 or ati catalyst 7.1(depending which chipset your video card has). Also make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX(should be 9.0c december).

Also, post a dxdiag so we can take a look at your hardware ect..

Start Menu > Run

Type in: DXDiag and press Enter, then attach the dxdiag.txt file here on the forum.

Then post a DXDiag so I can take a look at your system hardware and config otherwise, it will be hard to find the issue.

Goto your start menu

Goto Run

Type in DXDiag, then press enter, DXDiag will run, let it finish (choose yes to check for WHQL Signatures)

Once the progress bar finishes, press save all information, then you can save it to desktop as DXDiag.txt

Attach the text file here on the forums when you post to reply, click "Manage Attachments" and add the file there, make sure to hold CTRL if you are using a popup blocker when clicking "Manage Attachments".

I would update it to v.1.12 then use the v.1.12 nodvd fix.

You can try that, however, You may be missing something or have something that is corrupt on your system.

Try reinstalling these applications:
MSI Installer 2 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=889482FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C)
.NET Framework (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5)
Visual C++ Runtime (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=32BC1BEE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE)

Also run the DirectX Web Installer (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en) just to be sure no registry entries are missing.

Make sure to reboot after install. Also, run a ScanDisk (auto fix errors) then after Scandisk run Defrag.

You may need to find the German language version since your system is set for German. (according to DirectX.txt)

1st of all thx crypton that u help me so much ....i was installed the game new, patched it up to 1.12 cracked it with no cd 1.12 and it was running . I closed the game to start it once more and the windows error article comes again hmmmmmmmm.what U thing? I rent the game i must bring it back today ......

im not sure m8, it sounds like memory issues though, you may need to "reboot" your machine after playing it to "refresh/freeup" your system memory in order to run it again.

try rebooting your PC then see if it runs.

kk, if that worked then it is a matter of memory issues on your PC. G3 is pretty memory intensive and requires alot of it to play efficiently. I would recommend getting another 512MB Ram at the very least and at least a total of 2GB ram to play. But a total of 1GB will work.

As far as savegames, I am not sure what you mean m8, can you clearify? The savegame not working? Saying an error or wont load ect.. ? If so, this is caused by the low amount of memory on your system. G3 is known to corrupt savegames on low memory systems currently. Not sure ifg it is a bug or if it is due to the amount of ram needed to play. Most games are not effected by this, but G3 seems to revolve entirely around Memory. Even for savegames.
