No-CD patches?

Moving is a pain in the butt and my brothers are the worst when it comes to fragile boxes. They crushed my game box and I've now lost the play cd for KotOR, which I just picked up.

Can anyone direct me to a No-CD patch for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (First one)? The games were installed and played before the move but now I'm stuck.

Also, is there a way to make these patches for future reference?
