War of the Ring Crack help

I downloaded and installed the No-Cd crack for it, but when I open it, the screen flashes black and nothing happens. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

No, but theres only one no-cd fix on gameburnworld.

Yes your right, sorry was thinking of Lord Of The Rings: Battle For Middle Earth, which has a few different versions.

Does this error occur when you use the original CD, as the problem may not be releated to the game fix, but more so your system specs.

Well, back when my CD drive worked, I didn't have any problems, apart from a little bit of lag. My CD drive doesn't work anymore though, hence the no-cd fix.

hmm, unfortunately I do not have this game so won't be much help here, but have you tried running the exe in Win200 or Win98 compatibilty mode? (right click the exe > goto propeties > compatibility.)

Tried that, didn't work. Thanks for the help anyway.

EDIT: I asked my friend if he knew how to fix it and he did, no idea how though. Now it's working.
