Sims 2 error

Hello...

I have problem with Sims 2..I have instaled the Sims 2 and then i instaled Sims 2 Expnasion but there is a error.When Im updating at the end of instalation(that is when sims 2 expansion is finished at instal came a upadate pack a then it is updating to a object and then show a error...Game is original and works on my all friends pc but on my it is not working...

I have AMD Athlon 2500
Radeon 9800 PRO
512 RAM

Thanx I try that....but i have another problem in game max payne 1 wont work say i must get agp texture aceleration avaible but when i enter dxdiag that option is disabled and i can enable it

install the drivers for your manufacter that makes the cards cpu and not the drivers that came with the card. (ex. nVidia goto www.nvidia.com)

also, make sure you install your motherboards chipset drivers (ex. if you use Via goto www.viaarena.com and get the 4in1 drivers.)

Some systems will disable AGP Texture Accell if the chipset drivers are not installed somply because some boards need a way to tell the gpu how to use their method of using agp properly.

and I would recommend downloading newest vide drivers.

Uninstall old, reboot PC.

(if needing to install chipset drivers, install after above steps and then reboot again before installing video)

Install New, Reboot PC

YO guys im back :D I just downloaded Sims 2 DVD Patch and have it updated the game is working and then try to fix old error when is updating at the end of instalation of Sims Exp and now it is working but i got another problem now...after the finishing instalation of sims 2 and exp I tried to run the game and it runing just first animation and got a error....a small window opened a there is nothing in him just ok....i click ok and game is colapsing...a that is my problem....guys i need help please....
