I burned a copy of MVP Baseball 2005 but when I go into the directory on Disk 1 and open Hoodlum to crack in I get an error message and it crashes. I'm new to all of this so please be nice...I also downloaded the new patch, but no dice. Help!

Actually jsut by saying you "burned" a copy of the game and went to the "Hoodlum" directory pretty much spoke for itself.

A "bought" copy of the game would not have a "Hoodlum" directory on it. Only a download illegal pirate/warez copy would.

So again, we do not support it here and no we will not help you.

Cool, the only reason I posted here was because I read of couple of posts (with responses) about cracks that wouldnt work, if your using a crack to run the game dosent that mean that its a burned copy? Im confused here, help me out, again Im new to this. This message in specifically to "Crypton" Just in case your wondering what I'm talking about read this post...

no, that user did not say he was using an illegal copy. Nowhere did he say he burned a copy containing a Hoodlum folder either...

Hoodlum is a release group that releases "Pirate Software" A.K.A. "Warez"

So by telling us that your copy of your game has a Hoodlum Directory (folder) that pretty much summed up that you have a Warez/Pirate copy.

Using fixes to play your "LEGAL" game is allowed, and asking for help for your "LEGAL" game in order to play without your "ORIGIONAL" CD if you own it is allowed as well.

Your support/help was cut short when you made it clear the copy you have is not legit because the developers are not going to throw a Hoodlum folder containing a fix on any CD.

This has nothing to do with it being a burned copy, it has to do with the fact that you do not have a "Legit" copy.

but when I go into the directory on Disk 1 and open Hoodlum to crack in

Still confused?

That's exactly what I thought.
