Hi there,

This is in addition to my earlier post...

I have this 1 CD-Rom Game which I am trying to find a No CD for and the ability to make a 1:1 copy for my personal (and legal) use. This game should run directly from the HD... even via emulation.

Used A-Ray Scanner ... Securom 5.03.06.0019 Detected.

Tried using Alcohol 120% and Nero 6.x to make a HD image and 1:1 CD copy. Program installs, but nothing happens when you run the .exe

The only thing that works so far is the ORIGINAL CD, which is nuts since I wish to run it from my HD.

Any suggestions??

TIA

You can try making an exact copy of the game to an image file and editing the Topology.

Check out this thread.

If done right, you can play the game from a image instead of the CD. I know you probably want to play with nocd at all, but it would reduce use of your CD-Rom/DVD-Rom drive.

Of course, the tutorial is meant for those who do not understand how to use BWA-Edit, but it is a good time to learn :) So instead of downloading a .bwa file to apply to your image you can make your own .bwa using BWABuilder. It is loacated on the Downloads Page of Blindwrite website.

If you make a working image of the game it would at least help you out until a fix is released.
