Civ IV - warlords [Archive]

I've been trying to run Civ IV without the DVD on (it wakes the misses), with no success.

The no-cd patch crashes with the standard "encountered a problem and needs to close, blah blah" message. This happens both to Civilization and to Warlords. Using SD4hide or CureROM I had the same results.

Using the civilization mini-image I got the standard "insert CD" message, until I tryied using SD4Bloquer. That was the only thing that worked, but Warlords has no mini-image available.

Any ideas on how I could make Warlords run with the no-cd patch, and why it crashes?

Yes I did try with the lastest patch, I'm not that stupid.

And no, I did not create two topics, where did you get that?

I had Civ. 4 and it worked great with no-cd crack from gamecopyworld.
And there were two topics!

I know it works for most people, or it wouldn't be on GCW, but it doesn't work for me, and I have no idea why.

And sorry for the two topics then, I hadn't seen it, probably browser's fault.
