I just bought CivIII at wal-mart and although it installs fine it won't play....I keep getting the following error message:
original disc could not be found or authenticated
Anyone know what is causing this or what can bypass it? I have all the latest drivers, firmware updates etc. This version of the game is the latest so it doesn't need any patches. I have already tried the traditional civIII websites and they are no help. It's pretty bad when anti-piracy stuff hurts legitimate customers...I'm so frustrated at this point I probably won't be buying another Civilization game because of it.
Would a no cd patch work....I have the CD, it just won't read it!!!
