Hi

I was wondering. How do I play my old games, that I used to play on DOS or win 95 , on windows XP. If I insert the CD it says something about the pc is not compatible with the game and I need DOS.

Is there some sort of emulator for that? I really want to play my old games again

you need to install on a fat16 partition xp is fat32 and will not run it .
either add a partition to hard drive or install a second hard drive and format it fat16

XP is NTFS, unless you allowed "Home Edition" to do things on its own. XP Home can format the drive in NTFS, Pro by default is NTFS. "Name Brand" computers such as Compaq, ect.. come loaded with windows already, in most cases the "Home Edtion" they used they install as Fat32. But even so, doesnt matter.. I play LOTS of games on NTFS and Fat32 drives that are DOS games.

However, Fat32 is backwards compatible with Fat16, the correct answer is:

The game is not compatible with Window NT (aka XP)

However, DosBox may do the trick.
