Hi everyone, I was curious about the following;

While surfing the net one day, I came across a 'cheat' for the sims two that allowed you to have your choice of mp3s playing on the sim's boom box. It was quite a simple trick, in which you found the music folder and dragged your music into it.

My question is this; does anyone know if the same can be done with either Diablo 2 or Space Rangers 2? I tried dragging my music files on to the respective forlders on both games, but the file extensions are different (.mpq & .DAT respectively). If someone could shed any light on the subject, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Only files with the same extension and name can be used, when the game searches for the music, it needs to find the same music files. One way of doing it differently is to use a No-CD patch and then you can play whatever CD you wish, or load some mp3 music in Media Player and set it to random, make your own playlist.

Thanks a lot Duffman, right now I can't remember whether either have has a 'music' slider in onrder to turn off the crappy backfground music and substitute it with my own.(I don't want to be listening to my favourite Zeppelling song with a chorus of hellfiretrack01).
