La Attempt

This is my first post here :)
First of all let me warn everybody who reads this NOT to buy The Godfather for PC. It is probably the poorest port I have ever seen.
Heres my dilema.
After I first installed the game from the origional DVD, tried to open it and it told me that I had the wrong disk in the drive.
I went to EA's website, and low and behold the directiond there didnt help at all.
I tried to use a no cd patch, but there is currently a glitch with the only one avaliable that makes it so you cant get out of your car.
I then downloaded the Mini Image from this website, and used it in both Daemon Tools and Alcahol 50%. In both of them, the game worked but the load times were extremely long and the game played as if I had 64MB of RAM. Is this an issue with the emulation software? My computer?
System specs: Athlon 64 3200, X800GT (DHazerpoint drivers), 1 Gig RAM, Windows XP Pro.
Please help me, I really want to play this game even though its a terrible port.
