problems

i have d/l cossacks 2 no cd patches from ur site and have use it.. i have follow the instructions in there.. and still have problem with the game detecting disc 2 on the daemon.. is there anyone out there know how to deal with it?? thanks.. btw i have disable all my cds and so forth.. have anyone able to get it work?? or is the patch effective??

Did you follow the instructions in the .nfo file thoroughly, as there is a bit involved in getting it to work.

i have followed the instructions at the following..


Cossacks 2 - Napoleonic Wars


STEP 1:Install game mounted on newest daemon tools.Start game:
Game will then ask you to reboot to install the protection system.
Do as asked and reboot.

STEP 2:In the patch folder there are 3 files.
Run sfdrvrem.exe but do not reboot yet.
Then run sfdrvup.exe which will give you an error 1072.
Finally run the sfdrvpatch.exe on the file located in
Windows/System32/Drivers.Should tell you it is cracked.
Now reboot.

STEP 3:Click game icon and again it will ask to to reboot to install
protection system.(Bah)

STEP 4:Finally download Starforce nightmare from http://starf.bestmedia.kiev.ua/.
Run the SFNightmare.exe and(a) disable cd (b) disable node and (if needed (c)
disable ch2(depending on what IDE cable your cd drives are on).)
Ensure CD2 is mounted and try to play.Enter serial AMHRV-L2CW7-GA54F-D9HF8-P3J68.
Game should check disk and play.

NOTE: Game was tested on several desktop computers with XP installed and cdroms on channel2
IDE cables.

but it is not working.. and i am running intel 32bit 2.8mhz win xp with radeon ati and have 2 hdd, a dvd/cd burner and a cdrom..

when i run the game, it asked me to insert the game disc into another drive

You are using the latest version of Daemon Tools? I would go to there Daemon Tools website: http://www.daemon-tools.cc and install the latest version just to be sure.

yeah.. my latest version is 3.47

If you have done all the instructions correctly, and it is not working for you, then there is not much more you can do, you will just have to play with the original CD's.
