Problem with DirectX 9.0c

I cant install directx and its required to play grandfather ... i tried to download from diffrent pages and still no results :( i unpack the files run the dxsetup but an error comes out saying " DirectX interface didnt copy required file " help :D

The correct version of DirectX should come with the game CD, it will be a seperate setup file, jsut browse the CD and you will find it, and grandfather?
