C&C: Red Alert 2 help

I installed RA 2

on my P4 2.4 Ghz, 512mb-ram PC

but it was toooo fast! The unit moved in a tremendous speed! everything was fast; building, moving, fighting...etc :eek:

I thought this was due to Win XP Pro Sp1, so I set compatibility to Win 98 and Win 95, but the game still was fast. Then I thought it's my relatively fast PC specs that was causing that.

Any ideas as to how to play it normally?

I thought with Red Alert 2 you can adjust the game speed from the in game menu, I know you can with most strategy games, and you can with the first Red Alert.
