need help with crashday (newbie)

hey this is ma 1st post hi everyone i am havin problems with crashday i have got the no cd crack but evey time i try to start the game it says that it cannot initialise direct x 9 and my pc has probem but i have re-installed direct x 9 and still no joy ne gen would be much helpfull

Your definitely installing the correct version of DirectX? The correct version should come with the game.

First of all, what graphics card do you have? Secondly, did you try re-installing DirectX with the version that came with the game, just as DuffMan said?
