I followed the instructions in the Sims 2 thread, but...

After I download the mini-image and unzip the folder, the filename I have is Sims2_1_RIP.MDS instead of SIMS21_MINI.MDS, and it doesn't work. Does anyone know if I can find the 'MINI' file anywhere else/what could be making this new file not work?

Ok, so I re-installed the game and got it to load, but it didn't load any of the neighborhoods -- it only gives me the option of creating my own, which I can't do without files from Sim City 4... Help!?!

Hey crypton what is a good website to find cd serials of new games such as sims 2 open for business...i lost the box for it and need the key

I know they are, that's why I'm so confused.... Here's what happens:

When I load the game (The Sims 2), the "Choose a Neighborhood" screen comes up but it only gives me the option of creating my own neighborhood. So I click that button and it says "There are no Sim City 4 terrains available for import. Please place your Sim City 4 Files in the following folder..."

I got the game to work following the instructions in that thread a year ago, and it worked great. However, I just lost all the information on my harddrive and had to replace it. So I am trying to get this to work again and am not having any luck.

I am using Daemon Tools 4.03HE with emulations off because it doesn't work at all if I turn them on. I think I must have been using a different version of Daemon before, but I don't remember which and I'm not sure where to find an older one anyway. I also think I had the original SIM12_MINI.MDS (or whatever the name was in the thread) as well, in stead of this new one.
