The Sims 2 Night Life

right, okay I have installed the sims 2 full [ real disks ] and university and finaly nightlife.. I have mounted many images to daemon and when I try to click the nighlife icon the "open" screen comes up for about 3 seconds and then goes away. nothing happens...

whats wrong?

ok, downloaded older version of daemon - 3.47
tried 2 mini images - both of which falied...

when I clicked the icon for sims nightlife splash screen came up for few seconds followed by a black screen with a cursor [non sims cursor]
had to restart.
the black screen has no way out! I have tried like 50 times and have had to restart loads! its so anoying >.<

you click on the sims nightlife icon, right?

The black screen is one of the problems I have seen in EA's Tech Support site a lot of times, why don't you try contacting them with your problem, after you're sure it doesn't work with your original CDs either. Otherwise, try installing the latest patch.

For me it started working after I got the latest CD patch from the official site.
