.....you cannot play them?

I've only been backing up my (favourite) games for around 6 months or so and have never needed them and being a trusting(or indeed, foolish) person, i never tested them.

However, i yesterday found to my horror that my son has given disc one of my beloved SWAT4 a beasting and when i try and run it i get a message saying it is dirty when it is not(just badly scratched).

Praise to me i thought, for being so thoughtful as to back up my disc but when i popped it in it said something like "this is a backup, please insert your original disc".

What a waste of time! is there a way i can i play my back up? or can i get my original repaired?

thanks for your attention.

Use the No-CD patch from the PC Game Fixes section, should solve the problem.

Try using the one in the Command & Conquer: The First Decade archive.
