Stronghold 2 No-CD [Archive]

Hello,
HOODLUM has released a no-cd crack for Stronghold 2. Since it is not on this site, I will link to it. It's a torrent, so you can use a BitTorrent program to download it. http://thepiratebay.com/torrents-details.php?id=3320750&hit=1

Hopefully someone can upload it to GameBurnWorld and such, since it's not there. :D

Also, please note that this crack does NOT work with version 1.1. I have just tested it and the game fails to load if it is updated. So, for now, stick with 1.0 if you can. ;)

none of the cracks work the game gets stuck about 10 to 15 mins in the game it also has secrom Trigger Functions which allow the developer to program multiple and fully customizable authentication checks throughout the entire application, providing what is said to be a much stronger copy control than systems with only one check at program start.

Unfortunately, I believe the above poster is correct. My game crashed a dozen or more minutes into it. Hopefully something more efficient will come around soon.

Both have worked perfect for me. Not a single crash. So dont know what the previous member stating the lockups referes too. . Either way works perfect here.

I don't think it's hardware, though. Perhaps Hoodlum is having trouble completely cracking the executable, since Stronghold 2's protection supposedly checks for validation every now and then, on several levels. Hopefully there's some way around this.

system related. I purchased the game and swapped the exe. Plays perfect for me. And about to remove the game also cause its not my type. Played it last night for over 5 hours.

it was released on 28.10.2005.

Not currently :( Does not look like a fix is available for that version, at least not yet.

If you are wondering why all the game developers have all been releasing what seem to be pointless updates, it's simply because the are patching them with new versions of SecuRom and SafeDisc knowing they are hard to defeat. It could be some time before you see a v1.3.1 No-CD for this game.
