Hitman #47

hi there...
I have a little trouble here, i have a original Image .ISO of Doom 3 ROE, and I want to add the crack and the patch 1.3, but when I create another image with the files add, the instalation asks for the CD.
I created the image with Nero... Is there a program that i can create it, adding the files, and the protection of the install doesn't ask for the CD?

no... I have the ORIGINAL Image, so there isnīt any patch or crack on it, but for this to work with the Doom 3 that I have, it must have those both files, and I want to add them to the image. i know it is hard to understand...

Wow...exactly what I was going to start a new thread about.

I am backing up my games but see no reason to make a new cd that doesn't include the new updates. Downloading all the updates took me enouogh time
on dial-up as it is...why do it again.

I have seen images of games that include updates (as well as less legal items) in a new folder in the image. I would like to know how to do this as well, while still maintaining the 1:1ness of the backup.

I noticed some communication errors in previous posts and hope that this post is not lost in the ether.

What Otter Said.

Use a program such as Nero, UltraISO to create a new ISO image.

Drag the good "image" if Doom 3 to it, then drag the files such as updates, mods, no-cd's, minidisc's to it as well

Then save on desktop as something like Doom3_New.iso (DVD)

Make sure to change the image type in UltraISO to DVD 4.3GB or whatever you happen to be using as media.

Then simply burn the iso as a normal DVD. When you want to install the game, you can do so by mounting the Doom3 image from the DVD using tools such as Daemon-Tools 4 which is free. If you need further help or detailed instructions, just lemme know, but it is pretty straight forward. UltraISO is not freeware however, but a little searching on google can reveal some free tools for you for creating ISO images.

I think no one understands the real question  .

Hitman #47 wants to put all those files in a working installation CD (or DVD), wich also have the updates in a sub-folder. He wants to add those updates in the .ISO image he made, he wants to modify the image adding a folder, and then burn it again in a new CD.

The problem he has, after doing the process, is that it's an invalid instalation disc, it asks for the original CD.

Now, please... does anybody knows how to do that?

We understand exactly what your wanting to do, and I do all that myself as well.

Use UltraISO, I personally cannot stand Nero
http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/

It is very important that you set the Data Type for the CD/DVD correctly..

In UltraISO, before adding any files, goto "File > Properties"

Then make sure to select "Joliet" "Windows/Unix(31) and Joliet Filename Format "Standard(64)"

For media, select the correct media it will be going on, if you are using a standard CD you can select 700MB it will work with even 650MB discs (though you probably will be using larger so 700MB will work)

If your using DVD, select 4.7(4.3GB) unless your using a dual layer DVD in which case select the proper format 8.5 or 9.4 After you have set those properties, drag the folder/files tyou wish to put on the CD/DVD into the window on the right then click File > Save (or CTRL+S) It will make a new iso with the new data and afterwards you can burn it to CD/DVD using UltraISO (or any other burning program. (UltraISO Recommended)

You can use magiciso to modify iso image and burn it back to new cd. It works very well to me.
