Half Life 2

recently i brought half life 2 and it runs fine. But whenever i am trying to
save the game, after saving this error message occurs---


the instruction at "0x241f5a38"referenced memory at "0x00f0facc".
the memory could not be "read".
click OK to terminate programme.
---
& the game terminates. I have to again run the the game to play.

please can anyone tell me whats going on? How can I resolve this error?:eek:

This has been posted somewhere in the forums I believe, have no idea what would cause the problem, you would be best to contact the games tech support.

Thanks, but I'm unable to locate any tech support. can anybody suggesst one. I've seen that many other people is having the same problem. I think its a hardware issue. I have updated my graphic and sound driver. but the problem persists... Although it runs fine in one of my friend s machine.... really confusing..
