Please somebody help me...Today i bought the game..When i started the installation started with Direct and then in the proccess of install of the direct it show's me an error..And i can't do anything...The installation stops with file dxdiag...Please help me.....I want to play the game...

nfsmw is a great game to bad you can't play it either can i because i lost my dvd well i dodn't lose it my stupid little brother did !! i was number 15 of the whole world online when there were still like 400 people online :D

Can you post the error log and dxdiag files here so I can take a look. (I will be playing World of Warcrack atm) so don't expect a reply very soon lol.

Here is the problem..When i try to install any direct 9.0c from previous games it shows me this error...The problem is with direct 9.0c...And about the error log and dxdiag files i don't know where to find them....Damn....

Very common error actually. What you need to do is open the DVD from My Explorer, right-click on Autorun.exe, go to Settings, the Compatibility, check the first checkbox and select Windows 2000 from the list below. That way the game should install just fine. Remember to do the same with the game's shortcut.

Very common error actually. Man i have tried out that thing and it didn't help....:confused: The weird thing is that when i install DirectX 9.0c from other games just like BET ON SOLDIER i have this strange message with direct.....So the game is okay...Something with my computer...Maybe i need to delete the directX??I don't know..HELP////Βοηθεια!!!!:(

LOL, there is a program you can use to uninstall the DX9 on XP, after uninstall, simply reinstall.

Make sure you download the FULL DX9 Redistro before doing this! And boot to safe mode as well after downloading the full DX9 pacakge, run uninstall from safe Mode! Cannot stress this enough..

I would try it first before reformatting.

Thanks Crypton but i have already solved the problem.,...I just changed in Autorun.inf directX=9.0c to directX=0 and it passed the direct install...Now it works..Thanks for the help anyway...
