Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the V1.41 crack from or if it even exists yet. I can see the V1.40 crack but no V1.41.

I really need the most recent one so could anyone help out here?

Is there any chance the V1.40 .exe might work with 1.41?

Stupid typo, fixed now.

He he and to think I was about to go off at you for misreading my post and making smart ass comments. :P

Also, if anyone can offer any alternatives like extra emulators that while bypass the CD-Check that would be fine.

lol, makes more sense now :P, will look around.. And Daemon-Tools 4 should work. You may have to unplug your Real CD/DVD Drive however.. You can try diable it with StarForce Nightmare, but new versions of SecuROM can detect even drives that are just disabled.

Also, try SecuROM Burner Loader. All can be found on www.gameburnworld.com

Hmmm sounds like you're confused, no offence. I mean SecuROM and Starforce are two different protections and DOW uses SecuROM not Starforce as far as I am aware.

I don't purchase, download or play any Starforce protected games so I hope I am right. ;)

At the moment I am using GameJack to get around it. Was much easier to do than I thought.

Patching from V1.0 to V1.41 on the other hand was not and I had to a) re-install the game and b) check all file flags with read and write access as some are read only by default which leads to corrupt patches. I only mention it because it looks like 12649128746 other people have had the same problems patching to V1.10. (You need to patch through V1.01 - V1.10 - V1.20 - V1.30 - V1.40 - V1.41 which is a frikin nightmare so if you can find the full V1.41 patch which clocks in at 320mb or so DOWNLOAD IT INSTEAD! :P )

Who said anything about StarForce, me confused? NO, the new versions of SecuROM do almost the same as StarForce, they check for REAL IDE CD/DVD Drives and if found they blacklist SCSI completly, resulting in the same exact problem people have when trying to run SF protected games from an image. And im fully aware of what protections are what, and my knowledge of these protection runs pretty deep.

Ah ok I see, I think it uses Securom 5 or something. Either way Gamejack gets around it easily. Oh and like I said, no offence meant I had a feeling that might have been a case.

no no m8 lol, I didn't get offended, it is hard to offend me really, though I can sound a bit "forward" its really not the way I am meaning it in my tone,

Gues you could say im "not very well spoken" :P

just pointing out though that newer ones can check for even disabled IDE Drives.

However, SecuROM 5, you may want to read the help section on the forums, also, if you have Alcohol 120% or CloneCD, make sure to turn off "ignore media type" they can cause an image to not work on Daemon-Tools ect.. But if it works on GameJack, then great :)
