'no cd crack' help!!

i downloaded 'the sims open for business no cd crack', but i have no idea how to use it. i double clicked on the 'Sims2EP3' file but a box with a cross appears and that's it.
i've been trying all day to crack this game.
someone, for the love of god, please help me.

You need to copy and past the .exe to your games folder/installation directory and overwrite the original .exe
